托籃節 (Festa dos Tabuleiros) 是托馬市 (Tomar) 最重要、最盛大的節慶，富有悠久歷史。我很慶幸已到過兩次托籃節。要知道，這個節慶是四年才舉辦一次啊！

下屆的托籃節將在明年 (2023年)舉行，如果您現在已經正在籌備明年到葡萄牙旅遊的話，記得抽空參與，親身感受一下葡萄牙的濃厚節日氣氛啊！

托馬 - 依著Rio Nabão 河而建的優美古鎮, 有多所極具歷史價值的建築, 當中必數托馬基督修道院及城堡 (Convento de Cristo)。

Tomar - a beautiful historic town built on the banks of Rio Nabão, has a number of historic monuments, including this Convento de Cristo (monastery and castle).

始建於12世紀的Convento de Cristo, 建築揉合Manueline (葡萄牙獨有) 和文藝復興風格, 早在1983年就已經被聯合國教科文組織列入世界文化遺產。12-13世紀時, 騎士團因奮戰當時佔據葡萄牙的摩爾人有功而獲封賜大片領地, 他們在政治上的影響力也逐漸擴增。騎士團所興建的建築中, 包括這座宏偉、並且是葡萄牙國內其中一座最出色和響負盛名的「基督修道院及城堡」 (Convento de Cristo)。

Construction started in the early 12th century, the Convento de Cristo, a combination of Manueline and Renaissance style, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983. During the 12th-13th centuries, the Order of the Knights Templar helped the Portuguese fight the Moors. They were rewarded with extensive land and political power. Among the monuments they built includes this magnificent, one of Portugal's most outstanding and prestigious Convento de Cristo.

這邊所有店舖都在大減價, 不買簡直是難度極高的事情。例如：早兩天就在阿威羅 (Aveiro) 一個購物商場，以10歐元買了一雙 Pull & Bear 的布鞋，在Mango 用 15歐買了一條牛仔褲。

平常我不多逛街，現在利用這個優惠時段才買東西，扮做個精明的消費者，哈哈。:-)

Most shops here in Portugal are having big sales. It's really hard not to buy anything. Simply irresistible! For example, I bought a pair of sneakers a few days ago at a shopping mall in Aveiro for only 10 euros; and a pair of jeans at Mango for about 15 euros.

I don't often go shopping, and now make use of this opportunity to buy stuff. Pretend as a smart consumer, ha!

這幾天我在Tomar, 參與四年一度的大型節慶, 叫作 Festa dos Tabuleiros。節慶從7月4日至13日，高潮在11-12日兩天, 市中心舉行多項活動，包括有大型巡遊、表演、放煙花等。這兩天裡 Tomar 鎮中心全擠滿了本地和來自各地的旅客，氣氛非常熱鬧。市中心多條街道被布置得極之美麗，擁滿拍照的遊客，各間食店也被擠得水泄不通。

這個節慶是我暫時在葡萄牙看過的多個節慶中，最精彩的。:-)

I'm in Tomar these few days, watched the famous "Festa dos Tabuleiros" (Festival of the Trays) that takes place once every four years.

The festival this time lasted for 10 days, from 4th to 13th of July 2015, the climax was on the 11th and 12th, when there were various activities including huge processions, street performance and fireworks etc. The town centre was all packed with locals and tourists. Streets and alleys are beautifully decorated and crammed with tourists, same to many estaurants and cafés.

This is so far the most spectacular festival in Portugal that I have watched.smile emoticon
