在里斯本搭乘地鐵非常方便, 每個地鐵站的站內多處都有行車路線表清楚顯示站名稱和轉車站的站名, 而較大的地鐵站例如 Oriente 和 Jardim Zoológico, 由於可接駁火車和巴士, 另有白色底藍色字體的告示牌, 以葡萄牙文 Comboios 和 Terminal Autocarros 分別表示: 火車和巴士總站/客運總站, 而字旁也有圖形，所以就算不懂葡萄牙文都大概能明白文字意思。

The metro system of Lisbon is very user-friendly. Various route signs are installed at each metro station, which show clearly station names of each of the four metro lines and interchange stations. As such metro stations as Oriente and Jardim Zoológico are connected to train and bus terminals, another set of signs (with white background and blue words) written in Portuguese can be seen: “Comboios” and “Terminal Autocarros” mean "Trains" and "Bus terminus" respectively. The figures of a train and a bus next to the words are indeed quite self explanatory.
