開業於1905年, A Brasileira 咖啡館 ~ "巴西人咖啡館" ~ 在最早期是售賣正宗巴西咖啡的咖啡館, 亦是首間供應 "bica" 咖啡的地方 (一杯跟意大利 espresso 濃咖啡接近的里斯本地道小杯香濃咖啡)。她的忠實顧客中, 就包括葡萄牙著名詩人 Fernando Pessoa。雖然他已經在1935年辭世, 但他仍舊每天出現在巴西人咖啡館, 因為他化身為一個栩栩如生的銅像, 悠閑地坐在咖啡館前的茶座, 每天都是無數旅客的 "合照" 對象。

Opened in 1905, Café A Brasileira ~ "The Brazilian Café" ~ in its early days was a coffee house selling authentic Brazilian coffee, and was also the first café that served "bica" (a Portuguese term for "coffee" in Lisbon - a strong coffee which is similar to espresso). Its loyal patrons includes the renowned Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa. He passed away in 1935, but he still can be seen every day in the café: in the form of a lifelike bronze statue sitting leisurely outside the café, being the object of countless numbers of visitors for group shots together every day.
